I guess this is just an update on life here in Edmonton. I don't really feel inspired to post lately.. It's better to say nothing at all than ramble about bullshit.. but i guess this blog is a contradiction within itself..

I'm still alive is a good place to start..
Cedar's Bloom is writing new material and we are travelling to Calgary in January to record 1 song as a sort of test for our full official EP. We are recording a song that is currently called Emergency Broadcast. I am working my ass off to figure out how to get the song perfect.. Right now it's about 8 minutes long.. and we need it down to 5 for those with short attention spans.. (and it's probably alittle monotonous.. but i'm overly critical..)

I'm working on a new song that I want to be focused mainly on lyrics... and vocals... i dont' feel i've tapped into any creative melodies with the band yet.. and i want to work more on that... which is going well so far...

there is a rumor right now that we will be inviting people over for a small show during the third weekend of January.. just a performance to hopefully boost moral and start creating an alberta fan base... nothing serious... probably going to be some drinking involved... so if anyone is coming out in this direction, please feel free to stop by. but.. i guess wait until we confirm this thought... nothing official as of yet... we need to talk to a few members of the band still.. haha

work is going... i'm not getting paid enough but i think i'm getting by..
